Mixed choir Labyrint was founded in 1989 as a choir of high school and university students, and currently has 25 permanent members. The Choir International achievements include Five silver awards: Prague Days of Choral Singing (1998), Festival of B. Martinů in Hradec Králové (1999), Festival of Songs in Olomouc (2002, 2003), and Prague Christmas Festival (2003). The choir performs mainly in the Czech Republic where their annual performance of the Czech Christmas Mass by J.J. Ryba and A Ceremony of Carols by B. Britten in Prague's churches and Stabat Mater by F. I. Tůma has become a tradition. International tours have included: Sweden (1993), Hungary (2000), Greece (2002) and UK (2006). 2 CDs from the Choir are available recorded in 2002 and 2006. The choir's repertoire includes masterpieces from the Renaissance, Classicism up to the Modern composers with their speciality being the unique arrangements of Czech and Slovak folk songs and spirituals. They also perform the Mass in D Major "Lužanská” by Antonín Dvořák.

Lenka Charvátová-Štukheilová is the founder of the Labyrint Choir. She graduated at the pedagogical faculty of Charles University and also studied at the Prague Conservatory of J. Ježek, where she obtained a deeper conducting education. She went through a very fruitful choir career in the VUS ensemble (University Artistic Choir). Nowadays, she is a music teacher at a grammar school in Prague.
